NL Dit gebouw was het prestigieuze uithangbord voor de Cimenteries Belges Réunies. De architecten kozen voor de constructiekwaliteit van beton en doorgedreven fabricatie. Alle elementen van het gebouw met uitzondering van de fundering en centrale kern zijn in de fabriek vervaardigd wat een snelle montage mogelijk maakte. De gevels zijn het resultaat van een herhaling van 756 identieke modules in beton. Vandaag maken de landschapskantoren plaats voor kleinere ruimtes voor co-working.
Na de rondleiding wordt een korte video getoond met getuigenissen van Alexandre Brodzki, zoon van architect Constantin Brodzki, en Thierry Belenger, een van zijn beste vrienden. Productie: Modernista
FR Ce bâtiment fut le prestigieux emblème des Cimenteries Belges Réunies. Les architectes ont choisi le béton ainsi qu’un concept progressiste au profit de la qualité de construction. À l’exception des fondations et du noyau central, tous les éléments de l’immeuble ont été fabriqués en usine, ce qui a nettement accéléré le montage. Les façades présentent une répétition de 756 modules en béton rigoureusement identiques. Aujourd’hui, les vastes bureaux ouverts ont laissé la place à des espaces de co-working de taille plus réduite.
Après la visite, une capsule-vidéo est projetée avec les témoignages d’Alexandre Brodzki, fils de l’architecte Constantin Brodzki, et de Thierry Belenger, l’un de ses meilleurs amis. Production : Modernista
EN This building was the prestigious signboard for the Cimenteries Belges Réunies. The architects opted for the construction quality of concrete and a comprehensive manufacturing process. All the elements of the building, with the exception of the foundation and the central core, were manufactured in the factory itself, which made rapid assembly possible. The façades are the result of a repetition of 756 identical concrete modules. Today, the landscape offices have made way for smaller co-working spaces.
