Résidence Vincennes (1962)

NL Vlakbij het Terkamerenbos en met een schitterend uitzicht over de stad bouwde de projectontwikkelaar Herpain deze residentie van dertien verdiepingen met commerciële activiteiten, kantoren en appartementen. De gordijngevel en de speelse afwerking van de betonelementen in de façade zijn het uithangbord van het project. Veel aandacht ging ook naar de afwerking zoals blijkt uit de interventies van kunstenaars en de typografie van de signalisatie. Bezoek aan een appartement op één van de bovenste verdiepingen.

FR À deux pas du Bois de la Cambre, le promoteur immobilier Herpain a construit cet immeuble de treize niveaux abritant à la fois des commerces, des bureaux et des appartements, et qui jouit d’une magnifique vue sur Bruxelles. Le projet se distingue par sa façade rideau et par la finition ludique des éléments en béton de la façade. Les finitions ont du reste fait l’objet d’un soin particulier, comme en témoignent les ouvrages d’artistes et la typographie de la signalisation intérieure. Visite d’un appartement situé à l’un des niveaux les plus élevés.

EN Nearby the Bois de la Cambre and offering stunning views over the city, property developer Herpain built this thirteen-storey building that accommodates commercial activities, offices and apartments. The curtain wall and playful integration of concrete elements in the façade are true hallmarks of the project. A lot of attention also went into the finishing details, as evidenced by the contributions of artists and the typography used on the signs. Visit to an apartment on one of the top floors.
