DESCRIPTION:Marcel Lambrichs\, Jacques Moeschal\, Pierre Culot\, René Pechère1965-1969Repurposing: a2o – WITNL – Het voormalig Gemeentekrediet met de aansluitende Passage 44\, is een ontwerp op een sokkel met een parking\, de Mediathèque (tot in 2013)\, een winkelgalerij\, een auditorium. Bovendien vind je er een intieme binnentuin van René Pechère. De sculpturale betonwand is ontworpen door Pierre Culot\, het monumentaal kunstwerk is van Jacques Moeschal. A2o en WIT zullen de sokkel nieuw leven inblazen met Campus 44\, de nieuwe huisvesting van de KULeuven in Brussel.Gids: arch. Luc Vanmuysen/a2o architectenFR  – L’ancien Crédit Communal\, avec le Passage 44 adjacent\, se caractérise par un vaste socle qui accueille un parking\, la Médiathèque (jusqu’en 2013)\, une galerie commerciale et un auditorium. S’y cache aussi un jardin intérieur de René Pechère. L’impressionnant mur de béton a été conçu par Pierre Culot\, et la sculpture monumentale est de Jacques Moeschal. Ce socle va bientôt connaître une nouvelle vie en tant que “Campus 44”\, la dernière implantation en date de la KULeuven à Bruxelles\, sous la houlette des bureaux d’architecture a2o et WIT.Guide : arch. It accommodates an intimate courtyard designed by René Pechère. The sculptural concrete wall is designed by Pierre Culot\, the monumental work of art is by Jacques Moeschal.
